The idea
You should know the scope and the price before work starts.
That is why every project begins with a free estimate, and why changes along the way are written down with their cost first.
One team responsible
The plans, the trades, the schedule and the clean-up all have one owner, so nothing falls between people.
Everything in writing
The scope, the price and any change to either goes on paper before it happens.
You see where it stands
Regular updates while the work is going on, and a walk-through with you at the end.
